2017年4月，当时我们发现有5篇SCI文章引用OmicShare云平台，在年底时达到44篇。据不完全统计，2018年刚刚过去的两个月内又新增引用OmicShare 的SCI文章8篇。不到一年的时间，引用文章累计达到52篇，影响因子累计达205.904。
其中，影响因子最高的一篇发表在老牌期刊《Hepatology》（IF= 13.248）上，作者的单位为第四军医大学。

此外，发表这些文章的杂志还有 PLOS BIOLOGY（IF=9.797），eLife（IF=7.725）、Journalof Experimental Botany （IF=5.830）、Cellular Physiology and Biochemistry（IF=5.104）等等30种期刊杂志。

目前，OmicShare tools已有47个，这些文章中OmicShare tools中使用次数最高的工具仍然是热图、GO和KEGG富集分析以及韦恩图，见下图。

而从通讯作者所属地区来看，已从去年4月份首次统计时的4个省（直辖市）增长到目前的 21 个（国内），OmicShare的用户已遍布大江南北，见图2。

引用次数较多的3家单位为四川农业大学、西北农林科技大学和东北农业大学，引用的文章数依次为6篇、5篇和4篇，占引用总数的28.8%。
